Contact

Even before making contact, you need to have a good idea about what you want from the website. You should ask yourself questions such as:

Why do I need a website?
What do I want out of this website?
Do I have a specific target audience?

If you can answer those questions then it's time to get in contact with me. Firstly we should discuss the simple, broad ideas to scope out the project, and you should let me know of any particular requirements as soon as possible, so I can factor this in to the design straight away. After getting an idea of what you want, I can then give you a quote and a rough timescale of the project. Obviously contact doesn't stop after this first 'stage' - it is very much an ongoing occurrence.

Planning and Development

After I feel I understand your needs I can begin to sketch up initial prototypes for the design. I work in an iterative manner, meaning that I start with simple designs, and after getting your approval I then work up more and more detailed designs after each iteration. Having requirements (such as "We need to have a contact email on every page") early on is extremely helpful in this stage. This is the longest stage and it can take quite a while to get the design perfect.

Completion

After finishing the design of the website I can then code it up (if required) into a fully-functional site. Testing is done throughout the programming stage to ensure the system is secure and working. When the site is complete, I can even handle domain registration. I'll even host the website on my blazing-fast server located in the UK (for no extra cost!) if you don't want to worry about hosting.
